The fishing on the rivers is fabulous, it is virtually un-tried, certainly not by the more advanced methods and tactics we use in the UK. There are huge shoals of barbel and bream, with chub, roach, dace, bleak, hotu, pike, zander, perch, black bass, specimen carp and cats all abundant in the area. We have acquired a beautiful riverside site that is fully equipped for camping and caravaning. We are going to develop this as a dedicated Coarse and Pleasure Fishing site for UK anglers. If you don't want a motorhome/caravaning/camping holiday we can organise a static mobil-home (with swimming pool), B&B or a holiday cottage nearby.

Although Martin is a specimen Carp angler ( he loves all types of fishing and will help you make the most of your holiday. (See "Your Guide"). He is secretly becoming a great fan of feeder fishing for the huge shoals of barbel that frequent the area. He has recently found a stretch with some good barbel to double figures, this information he is keeping tightly under that ridduculous hat and will share it only with his clients. While Carping on the River Vienne, he fished the method feeder specifically to see what was bubbling in his swim. 25 bream later (all between 2 - 4lb) he gave up and started putting more bait in! The swim continued to bubble for a futher 4 hours!! Martin conservitively estimates that with proper tackle and tactics well over 150lbs could have been caught possibly 200lbs. He has also aquired the rites to fish a kilometre stretch of a very picturesque small private river, where stalking barbel, chub and good sized roach is the order of the day. He can help you organise your own unofficial matches, showing you various stretches for different types of fishing.
There are a few swims at the Riversite with many more miles for you to enjoy either up or down stream. We must impress on carp anglers that this is a day fishing only stretch and we take you elsewhere to dedicated night fishing areas. One very special occurrence in the area is the huge run of mullet that come to within 15 minutes of the site, stopped only by a large weir. We can take you to areas where you can pit your wits against the whiliest of fish.
There are separate men’s and ladies toilets and showers (UK sanitary standards). An area is available in the building for you to leave any extraneous gear that you may not want to leave around the site. Caravans, touring homes and camping can all be facilitated. Though a small yet very pretty site, there is plenty of room for you to have your own separate tree lined pitch with electricity and water. Normally any other occupants of the site will be anglers so if you want to you can share notes, maybe a few beers and a BBQ at the end of a long day’s line wetting. A key to the facilitity will also be given to clients that go B&B
We do not intend filling the site to capacity, prefering rather an absolute maximum of 4/5 angling parties to share the many miles of near virgin waters. We can show you other stretches and different rivers in the area, importantly matching and the best areas for your style of fishing. 100 yards from clubhouse to riverside
The site is on a sharp bend in the river where large back eddies, deep holes and sand bars have been created along with a superb small sandy beach just a short walk away. This is manned (afternoons only in July and August) by a lifeguard offering you a great facility for the family. It is by no means busy and only gets a few people on the hottest of days, you'd could always join them leaving you refreshed for an evening session. It in no way hinders your fishing as there are hundreds of areas we can show you if you want to fish the afternoons too.

Prices from £75 per angler per week providing there are at least 4 anglers in your party, smaller parties please call for more information. Additional non-anglers £30/week. This reserves your pitch, gives you access to the sanitary facilities as well as our fishing knowledge. If you wish to stay in alternative accomodation then please contact us for weekly prices. If you bring the family then Bernie can help with advice to keep the ladies and children occupied.
We provide a food package of breakfast and an evening meal, these will be good quality, hearty and great value at just £110 per person per week
