There is a gravel courtyard at the front of the property which can easily accommodate 3/4 cars with room for two more on a gravelled area outside the lockable gates. In this courtyard area are two beautiful old outbuildings ripe for conversion if more space is required. We have the details of the English artisan that did our renovation.

At the back of the house is the totally private rear garden with a large tiled terrace running the full length of the house which is perfect for those evenings of Alfresco dining. There is a lovely oak tree in the garden for those wanting a little shade from the heat of the day, the front of the house is also in the shade in the afternoon. The rear and gable walls have been renovated in the "Pierre apparente" style.  
     

























The The Pool is 5mx3mx1.1m deep, has been designed specifically so it can be to be easily adjoined to the terrace making it an integral unit. As it would still be above ground level you would not have to put up an ugly fence as any standard below ground level pool must now do. If you leave it as it is the external ladder can easily be removed when not in use, for added security for children.













The Kitchen is a balance of old and the new. The stone walls contain a fully fitted and equipped kitchen inc: gas hob and oven. Through the window  in the courtyard are quaint old outbuildings that have been there for centuries
 














The Dining Room has many original features and boasts an 8/10 seat country table and chairs on terracota tiles and a stone fireplace. The patio doors take you onto the outside terrace.















The lounge with it's thick stone walls, beautiful beams, terracota floor and stone fireplace is a wonderfully cool retreat in the hot summer months and cosy and warm in the winter. At present there is UK SAT TV, DVD and seating for 8 people. 

There is also a laundry room with space for extra storage if neede.
    












The The large modern family bathroom is fitted with a corner bath with shower attachment, twin sinks and heated towel-rail. There is also a separate  shower cubicle in the bathroom with power shower.
There are also two separate WCs in the house, (one upstairs). It would also be very easy and inexpensive to create a shower room or ensuite on the 1st floor if desired.





   
There are a 3 beautiful double sized bedrooms upstairs, featuring beamed ceilings. A spacious double room with king size bed has been created on the ground floor, this is ideal for those with a baby or those finding stairs difficult to negotiate. It could also be used as an office or play room. There are also telephone points in this room as it was previously used as an office and the house has ADSL.
Upstairs there are 2 double beds, 2 singles and furnishings. All furniture again is negotiable.

Should you require a further shower-room upstairs this could easily be installed , all the plumbing is already in-situ in the small toilet room.
